/ Project Overview

The World Craft Council (WCC) is a globally recognised organisation working towards the promotion and preservation of traditional crafts and artisans across the world.

As part of Kaivalam 2012, a four-day international craft event held in October 2012, the World Craft Council organised an International Craft Film Contest to encourage creative storytelling around crafts, culture, and artisanship.

Okulus Digital managed the outreach and participation campaign for the contest, helping the initiative reach film-making students, visual communication departments, colleges, and universities across multiple countries.

The campaign successfully generated strong international participation with over 70 film entries from students and creators worldwide.
